Details:
Better late than Never! A pair of late CME's blasted Earth and eventually tipped the Magnetic field sharply south to produce moderate G2 storm conditions world-wide. Spectacular Aurora have been seen, including across Southern Wisconsin and continues around the world at Upper Middle and High Latitudes! Here is my little slice of heaven just NW of Milwaukee, Wisconsin through high thin clouds! The first show around 10:30 pm was what I call "bright as Alaska" Aurora on the horizon and had the most movement. The rest of the display after midnight was a bright arc with faintly visible movements until the clouds finally ate it.
