Details:
Today December 18 is the only chance in 2015 to observe the Lunar X at night in Japan. This chance has almost the best condition for Lunar X observation, because it occurs at 18 o'clock (in Japan), which is the culmination time of the first quarter moon with the Lunar X, so the lunar altitude becomes high enough. Especially, in winter, at 18 o'clock it has already been dark, so one can observe the Lunar X phenomenon throughout from the beginning to the end with high altitude. Nikon COOLPIX 610 digital camera (no telescope); ISO 400, F6.5, 1/200s exposure, f=1440mm (trimmed)
