Details:

The comet could just be seen with small binoculars. Imaging was difficult due to battery problems on the mount but i could gather 8 images of 20s each through a 300mm lens with a simple DSLR.

When you say small binoculars, would a pair of 7x35s suffice? Cool shot, by the way!
