Details:
Thursday evening, while doing a time-lapse for Leonid and Taurid meteors, came a pleasant surprise! At 8:24 Pm, a beautiful Draconid fireball gliding across the northern sky! We were shooting a Canon 550D at ISO3200 for 10 seconds each. The lens, 14mm Rokinon at f2.8. This was a slow mover; it started in one frame, ended in another! I include a frame with the dippers for scale. I only wish I had a better foreground; my back yard, while not pretty, is mighty convenient! Many frames to sort through yet; more to come!
