Details:
This was a brief glimpse through the clouds and the battle of the gusting, cold northwesterly's. However, it shone beautifully. This was the result of the glancing blow of the expected CME. The KP index was low at 3, the Bz swinging north to south. Wind speed around 432km/sec. It moved beautifully across the sky. This was a great display behind the gloom. Canon 40D F4.0 ISO 1500 25 secs.
