Details:
This is a good period to try and catch a glimpse of the elusive Sirius B component, now separated by almost 10 arcsecond from the primary star, Sirius. This image was shot under decent seeing conditions, especially for the low altitude of Sirius above the horizon. Sirius B was visible all the time while I was capturing the images. I recon it can be imaged with much smaller instruments, say a 150mm Newtonian under very good seeing conditions, or maybe a 100mm good refractor. Try and observe it visually also, at 200x at least!
