Details:
This is the Silverfallet waterfall at Bjorkliden which flows into Lake Tornetrask in Abisko, Northern Sweden. I have tried to shoot these falls many times but to see the falls in the shot you are looking South, away from the usual direction of the lights. In the early hours of this morning my persistence paid off, after a two hour wait, standing up to my knees in the icy waters, huge auroras started to dance in the sky directly above the falls.
