Faint Aurora here in Dayton, Ohio At 5:00am I got an Alert text message from NASA Space weather alerting me to the G3 Storm in progress, this was caused by a coronal hole wind stream coming from the Sun, I got out of bed grab the camera and decided to go out to my backyard observatory to see if it was visible, despite the bright moonlight from the Last Quarter Moon & City lights, I could see a faint red glow on the northern Horizon...so i snapped a quick shot to see what the camera picked up...Faint Aurora Borealis confirmed...it made it down to Dayton, Ohio early this morning..it last only about 40 minutes...then I couldn't see it any more. Canon 6D DSLR, 24mm lens, F4.5, ISO 400, 8 second exposure.
