A spectacular event! The moment Aldebaran exited the dark lunar limb from a place beyond Petavius and Langrenus craters was observed by myself and my brother in law on the laptop screen live. I used a 14 inch homemade Newtonian at F/5 and an ASI120MMS camera with a red filter. The animation shows the exit of the Bulls Eye. The still shows the star a few seconds after. Nice to see the Moon is moving.
