What is THAT ?! No, this is not light pollution or clouds on the night sky. Here is one of the most unusual images of atmospheric red airglow I ever obtained here in high Chilean Andes. During that very night I noticed extremely smooth red gradient on the sky, but suddenly it started to transform into some funny shapes ! Have a look and try to make sense of what you see.
