Details:
Color image of the 11.7 mag star KIC 8462852 that has a light variation that is dumbfounding astronomers. One unlikely but still widely reported explanation is that it is the sign of an advanced extraterrestrial civilization. SETI is scheduled to look at the star in the coming weeks.
