Details:
A brief G1 level (kp5) magnetic storm took place between about 2am and 5am. The Auroras were right on the horizon, but got intense to the eye. The eye was picking up red almost as much as the color of the little lights on the Radio Towers! The perfect example of a Kp5 G1 Substorm viewed under ideal conditions on horizon from southern Wisconsin (no moon, no snow on ground, no humidity (cold = good!), no enhanced light pollution from clouds/clouds).
