Details:
Yesterday evening the sun set though a thick layer of smoke from bush fires and changed color from yellow to orange and magenta while disappearing behind some hills to the west of Mutare. This beautiful transition, which took only two minutes, was captured using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 compact camera in sunset auto mode. The accompanying mosaic was compiled from four photographs taken thirty seconds apart at x60 zoom magnification. The more distant views show the general situation a few minutes before and just after the sun changed color.
