This was my first Lunar Eclipse! I've been into astronomy my whole life but only recently started getting into it as a hobby. I've been doing astrophotography for a few years now. Love it! The eclipse was really neat. I was blown away at how dark the moon was and that you could see so many stars right next to it. I was doing 8 second exposures at ISO 800! Can't wait for the next one to try some different image ideas. I had to take multiple exposures of the eclipse in order to see blue light from the o-zone. Turned out to be there once I processed them as HDR's! I used a Canon 60D and a Celestron CG-5 Mount with a Celestron SC 6in along with my Canon 70-200 lens to acquire these images. Unfortunately I have a huge backward C shaped lens flare in one of my images because the lit side of the moon was so much brighter than the eclipsed area.
