Details:
A composition of 20 images. 4:03 am - 5:36 am local time During a lunar eclipse the moon moves through the earth's shadow. This combination of images (interval between images: 5 minutes) makes the earth's (umbral) shadow visible. It's impressive to see how big the earth's shadow really is. It took me a whole night of observing and ~3 h of processing/aligning etc. to create this image. But in this case it was definitly worth it. Enjoy!
