Total Lunar Eclipse - Harvest Moon- Super Moon on 09-27-2015 Image 4833_ Umbra - Penumbra - Direct Sunlight shot... This shot Clearly shows the distinct differences between Direct Sun light, Penumbra & Umbra, to show it, I had to over expose the sunlit portion, so you can see the Penumbra & Umbra(darkest portion of Earth's Shadow). I marked the regions accordingly!!! Plus a double star has just re-appeared after being occulted by the Moon at the 4:30 position. Captured from Lincoln, Nebraska. Canon 6D DSLR & 8 inch Diameter SCT telescope (2000mm FL) F10, ISO 400, 2.5 second exposure
