Well, one of my astroimgaing goals was to image the last total lunar eclipse of the 2014-2015 total lunar eclipse tetrad. I was at an engagement party of a friend in Murrieta, CA. But took time to image the last eclipse in the series as I had captured the previous three. I used a William Optics Megrez 90mm f/6.9 with Canon T1i DSLR set at 1.3 seconds ASA 800. The scope was ALTAZ mounted on a tripod.
So I thought I would share my 2014-2015 Tetrad Collage. The collage is scaled to show the sizes of the eclipsed Moon at each event. You can easily see why this last tetrad eclipse we just had was a Supermoon eclipse!! I had the assistance of my FB friend Tom Ruen in putting this together. Thanks, Tom! :-)
