Last night's eclipse was quite striking. There was throughout totality a graded range of darkness with a thin band that was much brighter. That this was a Supermoon and close in made its position in the umbra more significant. This is a 7 0.7 stop stack that is close to what I saw with my eyes that have a much greater dynamic range. Photo taken with a Questar Q3.5 and a Nikon D800. The image was stacked and deconvoluted (Lynkeos) and then adjusted with Photoshop..
