Details:
On Saturday, September 19, 2015 I was in Santa Cruz filming whales and birds. Suddenly I observed smock across the bay. Soon the smock developed into fully blown pyrocumulus mushroom cloud. Later I found out there were two wildfires raging in Monterey County at the time. Living in California I have seen my share of Pyrocumulus clouds, but I do not recall seeing one quite like that. Here's the video that demonstrates how it had developed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LiKN07EQKd4
