Tonight's blast from above was really amazing! It started as soon as it was dark enough, and lasted for hours. After 2 weeks of cloudy sky, it was about time we got some decent weather. This small pond is excellent spot for night photos. Almost no light pollution. And if the northern lights move from north to south, it's just a 5 minute walk to the other side of the pond. It's always great to get a reflection in the water. This is a few of the 866 pictures I took tonight. Canon EOS 5D Mark III + Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 14-24 mm f/2.8G ED + Canon EF 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye The panoramic picture was stitched together from 9 vertical photos.
