Details:
It was a display you couldnt take your eyes off. Although at its max it was KP6 the Bz was not much more than 5.2 south. The structures are unusual over the Moray Firth, billowing and pulsating opposed to strobing. The last display I caught on the 27th August had structures the same but more defined. It seemed to linger on the horizon with no particular height to it, murky almost which a fabulous tornado shape at one point.
