Beautiful picture! I love it when photographers get that radiating spokes effect. Can someone tell me how this is achieved?

The spikes are caused by the diaphragm blades inside of the lens.
If the blades were rounded, you probably wouldnt see hardly any spikes or any at all.

To get the spoke effect the lens is stopped down to a small aperture (ie f/16)
