Details:
Thunderstorm in eastern Iowa, clear skiies here in Nevada, Iowa. Looking up andsaw crazy beams of light originating over the top of the thunderstorm. Add in the lightning, the slowly moving beams of light, from a moon behind the storm, and our clear skies...what a show. The only thing that was missing was a good dose of auroras. The pic is bad, was in a hurry doing handheld 5 to 10 second exposures.
