Details:
I had seen the northern lights allready a few times this season, although still too bright to get any good pictures. Tonight however, on aug.27th, even if still not completely dark, I felt conditions were good to photograph the auroras. It started early, you could see the auroras at 10pm before it was dark, and around midnight when it was darker, I witnessed an explosion of geomagnetic lights in the sky. A large yellowish setting moon provided som nice light in the horizon as well to complete the scenes. What a great start to the season and great way to try out my new camera :) Shot with Sony A7R Mark II, A7 Mark II, A7R. More of my images here: http://instagram.com/arcticlightphoto/ Ole
