Details:
Visually the aurora was viewed as the sun went down and it got dark enough to see. The Kp was 2 when I last checked it, but rose to kp4. With a moderately strong solar wind and Bz south the Aurora lasted well into the night. Images were taken with a Canon 60d, Tokina 10-18mm f/2.8 lens, ISO 5000 and 20 seconds.
