Coyotes started singing at the stroke of midnight, but meteor numbers didn't start ramping up until the barred owl started calling at around 2 a.m. This is a composite of 17 meteors that fell above Mount Saint Nicholas in Glacier National Park, Montana, between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m.

Some of the light blue is air glow. The pink is a mixture of clouds and smoke from the 15,000 acre Thompson wildfire burning a few miles north of this location.
