Details:
This was the brightest meteor that I observed during a full night of viewing. It appeared to be going relatively slow. I believe this was largely due to foreshortening of perspective as it was so close to the horizon. Canon 5D mark iii 30sec at f/2.8, ISO 5000 Taken on 8/12/15 before midnight.

Extraordinary dark sky those of Colorado... Clouds are dark in front of the sky even at low altitude... Lucky you!
