Here are couple shots attempting photographing the Perseid meteor shower last night from the Blue Ridge Mountains of the Southern Appalachians. The shot with 4 meteors was made using a 20mm f1.8 at 2.8 for 20 seconds ISO 1600 (sequence of 4). The self portrait with puny perseid was with a 10mm at f2.8 for 20 seconds. Both using Nikon 5k series cameras.
