Great to see more solar imagers participating - I'm always learning from others. Also reassuring that my location is not the only area where air turbulence is an issue - frustrating as it is. Images include high power of AR2396 (difficult) and wide view of all spots (easy) for orientation. TS 115 mm APO triplet; Baader wedge; ASI120MM; 3X Barlow; FireCapture 2.3; Registax 6; PSP7. East/West not reversed.

They are nice , my friend. Good work with a 115mm refractor.
Still, try a softer processing...if it works and dont mind with the yellow color because the Sun is white and only yellow when low on the horizon ;-)
Cheers,
Bernard.

Bill you have a lot of noise in your image. Try taking 2000 frames and processing 15 to 20 percent. Good luck. Randy

Thanks for the tip Randy. Part of the image defects may be due to some of the photo editing noise filters I use. Generally, I take an AVI file of 300 - 500 frames and set limits at 10 - 20%. Tomorrow Ill try more frames and post the results for you to see. Here in the tropics we have a lot of air turbulence which may also contribute.

Cheers,

Bill
