Details:
While scouting for a location the night before the full " Blue " moon of July , I ended up doing an impromptu photoshoot with a capricious White Pelican that was cruising for fish in New Cody Reservoir. The rising 99.4 percent full Moon cast a lovely pool of reflection on the nearly still water under the red-blue terrene layer of dusk. The Blue Moon came full about 8 hours later, by which time I had expanded my library of White Pelican photos by several orders of magnitude. Shot with Nikon P7800 camera, ISO 800 , 1/100th sec at f/4 on Auto color balance with no exposure bias.
