Details:
On the evening of July 27 I pointed my sprite camera system towards storms up north-west of my location in Hawley, Tx to see if I could catch any sprites. Indeed I caught a few sprites but in addition I also caught meteors! This image is a stacked collection of all the captures from that night. The sprite capture system consists of a watec 902h ultimate low light b/w video camera mounted on a pan.tilt head that I control via a self designed and built arduino web based control application. The the images are gps timestamped with a video overlay. In this stacked image the times get stacked so they come out at blocks of white.
