Details:
Brightly colored sunsets caused by lingering aerosols from the eruptions of Calbuco volcano in April continue to be observed from Mutare on some evenings a few days apart. This composite of six pictures, taken over a period of twenty minutes after sundown on 10 July using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 compact camera in sunset auto mode, displays the beautiful spectrum of colors often associated with volcanic sunset twilight arches both in the sky and in reflections from a swimming pool below. The colors are natural and have not been enhanced. Copies of the original mages are presented for two seconds each in the accompanying animated GIF.
