Last year I saw my first NLC, but then I only had my iPhone... After much saving (for my first camera) and wait even longer this season (many days in the last weeks), I finally saw my first one this year! Unfortunately the first three pictures were unsuccessful, two very dark afterward and fortunately two good! This is the best, I hope there will soon be more NLC! (so I can practice with the ISO) Exposure: 13" Aperture: f/6.4 ISO 1600 Date taken: 2015:07:06 11:53pm

Nice photo Priscilla! Funny, I think that we saw the same NLC earlier this week, from the same place (check out a couple of photos earlier on the NLC gallery)

I think that your settings are good :)

Thank you! I was so excited that it succeeded!
(I have this camera for 1 month now, and of course i did not practice at all (yet) with night pictures...)
And yes! I saw your picture passing by!
I look every day on this website (love it!) and thought, I was the only one in this neighbourhood... ;)
And how nice that we have looked at the same cloud, at the same time!
I hope we will find even more NLC this month.
(I adore clouds, but we have rainy days now; not good for NLC, and time is short.)

Haha I also never expected to see other people from Nijmegen posting photos here!

If you want to write more about settings and how to use the camera, you can write me on the contact form on my website (address is at the bottom of my photos) :-)
