Details:
AR2381 remains very addictive in attempts to get the best possible image comparable to those of Phillipe Tosi's high resolution white light views of granulations. Today's viewing conditions were mostly cloudy and, one had to literally chase the sun between clouds leaving little time to fine tune settings. Nonetheless, it was a worthy exercise. Here are several images which vary in post-processing. TS 115mm APO triplet with Baader wedge and 2.5X Barlow. ASI120MM and capture with FireCapture 2.3; processing with Registax 6 and PSP7. East/West not reversed. Best viewed in enlarged window with black background.
