Details:
I was able to capture the aurora low on the northern horizon over the Atlantic Ocean (courtesy of the G2 geomagnetic storm) while fireworks were going off at the local beach in celebration of Independence Day. The blue/green/pink'ish colors were not visible to the eye but the horizon was brighter than normal. Taken with a Canon EOS 6D, Samyang 14mm f/2.8 lens, ISO1000, 30 second exposure.
