Details:
Despite a forecast for clear skies, we again had cover. I learned what I thought were clouds is actually smoke from Canadian Wildfires, which explains why I could not photograph Jupiter+Venus. The smoke is making for brilliant yellow, orange and red displays at sunset. Last night I again stood at my window and watched the sun set. I took a series of photos and when I looked through them I noticed 4 (yes, 4) sunspots, always the same distance and location with respect to the other spots. I was thrilled! Oh, and the bird is a Common Nighthawk. The first photos I took were at 8:22 PM CDT; the last at 8:34 PM. Photos were taken from a fourth floor apartment. Canon Powershot SX260 HS Digital Camera
