Details:
We watched the conjunction the evening after their closest approach to one another from Indian Beach (Ecola State Park) south of Seaside, Oregon. The event set over Tillamook Lighthouse some 1 1/2 miles off the coast. This was a 3 second exposure at ISO 3200 at f/3.5 with a 320mm telephoto lens and a Canon 60Da camera.
