Here’s may take on this wonderful cosmic spectacle. I viewed this through an eyepiece on my telescope before fitting the Canon 5D Mk III with a x1.4 Kenko Convertor to give an effective focal length of 3290mm. The pair of planets were separated by approx. 1/3 degree. For comparison, the full Moon is approx. ½ degree in apparent diameter, so this was a very close conjunction indeed. Cheers Dennis
