Details:
In 2015, Venus moves from the west to the east, from the far side on her orbit through the near side to the far side again, passing the location of the greatest eastern elongation (7 Jun.), inferior conjunction (14 Aug.), the greatest western elongation (26 Oct.). So 2015 is the best year to observe Venus from the eastmost to the westmost, i.e., to "be passed by Venus in in-course". Nikon COOLPIX P510 digital camera (no telescope); ISO 100 basically (some 200), 1/400-1/1000s exposure, F5.9, f=1000mm
