Details:
It was a great experience! It was partially cloudy that day, yet, I am an optimist.
I used an Olympus SP-800UZ and some unexposed x-ray paper as my solar filter.
A problem presented itself in that my camera kept turning off since I had to place the extremely dark filter over the lens. Anyway, I persevered through the rain, clouds and a quickly-setting Sun to capture Venus transiting the Sun.
