Details:
Aurora alerts promised an epic solar storm. Not wanting to go photograph the same location as the last storm, I decided to hike Pyramid Peak high above Lake Crescent. When I arrived I was a little disappointed by the trees blocking my views to the direct north. All in all I think it was a welcome addition to the image. not just the same ol' aurora image.
