Details:
Difficult to image this display - caught between the double whammy of being right at the southern limit of the predicted visibility area, and the contrast-robbing perma-twilight at 53 degrees N. The low green band shows up fairly well. The pinkish hues above it are almost lost in the twilight. On 1 or 2 other frames, there is some banding structure in the pink region. I used 3 different cameras; no surprise that the low noise CMOS-sensored Canon 5DII gave better results than the old CCD-sensored Fuji S5 Pro and Kodak DCS645M medium format back!
