Details:
Was planning to try out a new location last night, but the North Sea haar put paid to that idea, so I headed up Millstone hill just south of the Bennachie range. I could see some faint wisps of cloud before I set off, but wasn't sure if it was just Cirrus. This was the view by the time I climbed above the treeline, think it was well worth the effort. The display climbed higher in the sky in the emerging twilight, but it was difficult to differentiate between the NLC and cirrus clouds, although the time-lapse shows it up better. The other image was taken with a Samyang 14mm lens at 0134 UTC
