Details:
The first and third photos show Venus on the day of its 45° eastern elongation and Jupiter above it (upper right). The purple color of the evening twilight sky and the pink arch (second and fourth photos) hint at the presence of lingering volcanic aerosols. The photos were taken from 20:30 to 20:49 UT with a Canon PowerShot SX60 HS camera.
