Details:
An alternative to the quiet Sun is the ever interesting lunar face. Here are a few images from the recent Quarter Moon obtained with a 125mm f/18 refractor. The larger is a composite of two pics from Plato to Eratosthenes. The smaller images are of Mare Serenitatis and the Clavius/Tycho region.

Very-very nice pictures ! Congratulations ! When I see yours pictures of the Moon, I imagine what you can see with yours eyes with your refractor :-)
