Details:
I was on Lake Limedes (falzarego Pass- Belluno - Italy), and I saw the shining Venus reflected on the lake surface. And 'interesting to see the silhouette of the tree that shields the light of the planet

I dont think the silouette is a shadow: it starts just at the coast line, while it should not, such as the reflected light. I think it is the mirrored image of the tree. Venus shadow is a bit harder to capture. Anyway I liked the picture.

This is surely a reflection of the tree, but the light of Venus that passes through the tree is very marked. I dont understand what you mean, sorry.

I would mean simply that the tree obstructs partially the Venus reflection, and that this is different from shadow. See also my comment to Marcella. You know that evening/night there was quite a remarkable moon glare which makes impossible to speak of shadow of Venus. I would say that the reflections of Venus were partially masked by the tree. Anyway it is an interesting effect.

In fact, if you read the comments to the image I dont talking about shade, but about a tree that shields the light of the planet. :)

Pardon! Reading your comment I made the wrong assumption that you were speaking of shadow :) maybe because Im obsessed by the Venus shadow that I tried to capture several times without success.
