Again a night with many hours PMSE's or Polar Mesospheric Summer Echoes.Unusual strong reflections on my VHF instruments in zenith direction.What happened there at about 90 km altitude?

To answer : clearly, first Noctilucent clouds above Northern Europe ! (see the image from Scotland...).

Do you think there is a connection with the small comets found 20 (?) years ago by Louis Frank, by the UV absorption high in the atmosphere, detected by his satellite experiment? As I recall, his interpretation was rejected by looking where they werent (where Frank had never said they were found) and not finding any. Could a mixture of water (to make the NLCs) with ionic compounds like NH4+OH- or Na+Cl- give such a large signal? Compare expected composition of Europa ocean and Enceladus geysers.
