Details:
My wife and I were sitting on our front porch enjoying the beautiful warm weather and I noticed a pollen corona around the sun. This particular corona was the most elongated I have ever seen. A plausible explanation for the elongated corona may be the shape of pine pollen which has sacs to give it buoyancy. All photos are cropped from the originals but no other processing has been applied.
