Details:
Captured in the photos, taken with a Canon PowerShot SX60 HS camera around 20:20 UT, is a Virga formation at sunset. Virga is an observable streak of precipitation that falls from a cloud and evaporates before reaching the ground and it is not a rare phenomenon. What made this one particularly interesting however, was the unusual Kelvin-Helmoltz instability (Van Gogh`s wavelike) pattern it exhibited.
