Dear Dr Paolo Candy

Amazing that you have still captured Comet Lovejoy as its well on its way out of the solar system now.

As our group here in Portland Oregon will provide a star party for 50 girl scouts this coming Saturday night May 16th, in our Columbia River Gorge dark skies, would you indicate that you could still spot the Comet Lovejoy nucleus at least in binoculars low on the north horizon?
I am having trouble just finding coordinates or a star chart for the comets current location. We are hoping to possibly show the girl scouts comet Lovejoy, aside from other Deep Space Objects, and the Planets Jupiter and Saturn.

Also, can you indicate briefly your camera. Telescopic optics, and exposure settings?

Thanks for any further information and I look forward to seeing your next photographic images, possibly of Comet MASTER, now brightening fast.

Can you tell me about what magnitude the comet is currently shining?

Magnitude about 7.5 but on north sky very low ... easy with a binocular.
Also, can you indicate briefly your camera: STL1001E CCD 24micron 35mm diagonal;
Telescopic optics: Ritchey-Chretien Marcon 20 inch F/8 at F/4.2;
and exposure settings: 4 exposureof 1 minute x each channel LRGB (12 min tot).
No elaboration as photomontage, layers, ecc.
Thanks at all!
Dr Paolo Candy

Comet Master at this latitude in August-September will be well visible in the morning sky!
Some visibility on evening will be very hard ...
